We are proud to announce that all Diaverum dialysis Clinics in France have been successfully certified by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) following the 2023–2025 certification cycle
Mandatory for all healthcare institutions, HAS certification is one of the most rigorous evaluation frameworks within the French healthcare system. Based on a national reference framework comprising nearly 600 criteria, it provides an in-depth assessment of patient safety, medication management, clinical practices, risk management, and patient experience. Healthcare facilities are evaluated not only on their documented procedures, but also on the actual practices observed during on-site audits conducted by independent experts.
At a national level, while 90.5% of healthcare institutions are rated as meeting quality standards, only 23.8% achieve the “High Quality of Care” distinction, highlighting the highly selective and demanding nature of this certification
Within this particularly demanding context, Diaverum France has achieved the following results :
- 100% of certified Clinics;
- 15 Clinics achieved “High Quality of Care”
- 4 Clinics achieved “Confirmed Quality of Care”;
- Compliance scores between 96.8% and 99%;
- A certification granted for a period of four years.

These results reflect the maturity of our organization in France, and above all, the outstanding commitment of our medical, nursing, and support teams, who are dedicated every day to delivering the highest standards of care to our patients.
Commenting on this achievement, Francesco Rabasco, Country Manager of Diaverum France, said: " Achieving these results at a national level is a great source of pride for Diaverum France. It reflects a long-term collective effort to structure our organization, strengthen our practices, and place quality and patient safety at the core of every decision we make. In a healthcare environment undergoing profound transformation—where expectations in terms of quality, transparency, and performance continue to rise—these results confirm the robustness of our model and the relevance of our strategic choices. They also reinforce our responsibility to continue innovating, investing, and continuously improving, in order to ensure that every patient receives high-quality, sustainable care aligned with the future challenges of nephrology. »
Valérie Boireau, Director of Quality and Care, added:
" This certification primarily reflects the reality of practices in the field. It attests to the quality of the daily work carried out by our teams, in line with the highest standards. Beyond the results themselves, it is the continuous improvement dynamics, the culture of feedback, and strong risk management practices that truly make the difference. We will continue our efforts to consolidate these achievements, support our teams, and further evolve our practices for the benefit of patient safety and quality of care.»
In response to the growing challenges associated with chronic kidney disease in France—such as an ageing population, increasing comorbidities, and the transformation of care pathways—Diaverum France continues to actively invest in training, clinical excellence, therapeutic innovation, and digitalization, with the aim of sustainably strengthening the quality, safety, and accessibility of care.
